2Blades Awarded $25,000 Make it Better Foundation Grant
2Blades has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Make it Better Foundation, an organization dedicated to identifying and amplifying the work of outstanding nonprofits in Chicago and across the country. 2Blades was recognized for advancing agricultural innovations with meaningful impact on U.S. and global agriculture.
As part of the selection process, 2Blades submitted a You Said It article highlighting how crop disease is undermining global food security, titled “A Silent Crisis is Undermining Global Security: These Scientists Have a Solution.” Following a rigorous review, 2Blades was chosen as one of 43 nonprofit organizations selected from a highly competitive field.
In total, the Make It Better Foundation awarded more than $1.25 million to this year’s cohort and will partner with each organization on a year of collaborative storytelling to further amplify their impact.
