Brian Rutter joined the 2Blades, St. Paul team in July 2023. He has a Master of Biology degree from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, and a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Indiana University. He completed his post-doctoral training in the laboratory of Dr. Roger Innes at Indiana University studying intercellular communication in plant-fungus interactions. Within the St. Paul group, he works on the mycotoxin mitigation program in corn, pursuing both fungal elicitor and plant gene discovery.
