Tiana Roth joined the 2Blades, St. Paul team as a Lab Technician in January 2025. She earned her Master of Science in Genomics, Phenomics, and Bioinformatics from North Dakota State University. During her master’s she worked on mapping and identification of susceptibility genes in wheat to the necrotrophic fungal pathogen, tan spot. Currently at 2Blades, Tiana is working on the corn mycotoxin mitigation project to identify resistance genes using the PRRseek platform. She is excited to identify potential resistance genes, transform them into maize, perform disease assays, and test them in the field.
