Sarah Pottinger joined 2Blades in January of 2025. She earned her PhD from Indiana University and has over a decade of research experience in plant pathogen interactions working with bacterial, viral and oomycete pathogens both in model species and wild crop relatives. Her work focuses on identifying novel sources of resistance to Phakopsora pachyrhizi using genomic techniques that leverage the genetic diversity within Soybeans wild relatives.
