Lesley Milnes is a Research Assistant for the Norwich-based 2Blades group, focusing on assisting the research of her fellow lab members. Lesley joined the lab in 2016 to work on identifying PRRs for resistance against fungal diseases for corn using a high-throughput screening platform. Since then, she has been involved in developing the system to work in soybean, identifying resistance genes against Phakopsora pachyrhizi, and collaborating with other lab members to utilize this platform for the discovery and confirmation of resistance genes against ASR.
