Christine Daugherty
Vice President of Sustainability, Conagra
Christine Daugherty is VP of Sustainability for Conagra, helping to advance the company’s sustainability efforts for doing what is right for the environment and Conagra’s business. She is Chair-Board of Directors for AgroScout, and serves as a Director for both Leading Harvest and Ciranda. Christine has also served as a Board member for Wells FargoIN2 incubator. Her role for these organizations involves steering strategic initiatives, ensuring effective governance, and fostering partnerships to enhance the organization’s brand reputation and global profitability.
At the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Christine identified and evaluated private sector business partners to address agriculture and climate change challenges. She also served as VP Sustainable Agriculture & Responsible Sourcing at PepsiCo, and VP Sustainable Food Production at Tyson Foods.
Christine holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law, a Post-doctoral in Plant Gene Regulation from the University of Florida, a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology from Louisiana State University, as well as an M.S. degree in Plant Pathology from Iowa State University.
